This is the next print I’m sharing with the public, hopefully (fingers crossed for censorsh*p). I’ve shared it privately here a couple times, tucked between other prints, but in this post I will walk through more of the process and behind the scenes. I would like you to have the opportunity to view the final version of the print alongside the original first draft. I will not be sharing the original darkroom print publicly. This gives you the opportunity to witness how different printing techniques in the darkroom (by different printers even!) can return a very different feeling. This is one of the only images in my entire history that I asked an expert to print - to deepen my investigation of her final form.

The behind the scenes, both video and still, are deliciously colorful! It’s an unusual and rare scene of me ‘preparing’ the subject, and ‘unpreparing’ them. I was fortunate to have Anne Marie Eluard there capturing it all.

Stay Curious, or join and never tell a soul! One day soon, she may move in living color.

It’s interesting how connected she is to my recent piece on horror. I hadn’t seen The Substance or Weapons when I created this and didn’t realized how it would all converge.

This is your opportunity to collect her before I tour the west coast in October. (Yes I’m finally going to Canada for the first time - Vancouver!)

Enjoy Her,

Brittany

p.s. A new design twist: Pink & Red, like our most sacred Room. May the Divine Feminine fill you up and bring to the surface all that needs exorcising.
p.p.s. The image here has nothing to do with the shoot itself — the details remain a secret p.p.p.s My Back to School sale ends this weekend! 30% off darkroom prints, 25% off darkroom & custom lessons
