Greetings dearest Subscribers!
I’m wishing you all an inspiring and cozy holiday season. This month is always nostalgic for us, a time for closing chapters and preparing energy for the new year. I have been reminded of the gift of patience, of perseverance, of holding strong the bigger picture and trusting one’s intuition. Sometimes this requires stillness, setting boundaries, walking away from relationships, creating space in your life for love, growth and creativity to blossom.
There has been a lot of motion In Rooms, although minimal posting and evidence online! Recently I received 16 rolls of film back from shoots in October & November, 5-8 new prints will exist in our newest book! I am taken back by the new energy, in camera tricks and how this work shifts the narrative. I will begin printing this weekend and offer the first editions to print collectors first! In an alignment of souls and creative desires, I hosted one more woman this past week. We have never worked together before but have met several times over the past 5-6 years. The shoot this past week was one of my favorites to date and concludes my shooting for 2024 and the newest book! It felt as though In Rooms was finally the most In Rooms of all time! There was mystery, seduction, horror, beauty, symbolism and philosophical jolts. Now we prepare for 2025 and the blank page of a book that has no form yet.
2024 concludes a decade of creating this series on square format, I’m truly in disbelief that I’m still a full time artist investigating the unknown, reporting my findings and sharing them all with you. It is truly my gift , despite all the setbacks and uncertainty. I hope the work reaches you and fills you with a little jolt during your day.
